Twenty-four letters. most written from Leacote, Rhinebeck, NY; [letter #2] Mar 9, 1895? - "..strong public feeling against the destruction of the Mr. Rutsen woodland." [#6] Jan 28, 1897 - "Mr.Saunders writes me that thanks to Miller and yourself the site for our new church is provided and that subscriptions are now payable to you for the building fund." [#7] July 12, 1902 - Village Improvement Society...to enhance beauty of Rhinebeck...plant trees all the way to the station. Requests trees be planted on Suckley property, formerly the Hermance farms. [#8] Oct 3, 1902 - Against proposed trolley from Rhinebeck to the station [#10] Nov 12, 1907 - Invitation to lunch, "I will show you the mare I bought many years ago from Wilderstein with her fine colt."
