Small light gray notebook with "December, 1912" printed on cover. Provides two lined pages for each day of the month. On many dates, the only entry is RBS’s weight. Excerpts: Dec. 9: 173 7/8 [RBS’s weight] / Very cold, clear & calm / To town in 7:56 (late) / Bght 100 chino @43 ½ / Ther. went down to 15 degrees early this morning./ Have given up tobacco. / House of Rest 4:30 P.M. / Watch at noon +8" / Dinner at Racquet Club with H.E.M. & Nummie. / Home in 9:44. 12: Walked to Rhinebeck & rode home on my bike from the Hub garage. 17: Wright is putting up new glass shelter on W. piazza / Mary C. Montgomery arr. at 5:41. 19: 176 5/8 [RBS weight] / Rainy./ At 8 A.M. watch is 6"+ than el. cl. [watch is 6 seconds faster than the electric clock] / To town in 9:26 / Bght 100 chino @42 / Ck CB# [blank] myself 100. cashed H.E.M. & Co. / Transferred 400 to Arthur’s account at H.E.M. & Co. Allowance acct. / Met Daisy arriving 4 o’clock Penn RR Station. We took taxi to H.E.M.’s W 76th St. & 6 P.M. train to Pok., etc. 29: Daisy & 3 girls went to Dutch Ref. Church.
