Sixteen items: letters,post cards and a preliminary exam report from Harvard. Written from Phillips Exeter.Academy and from shipboard. Robin often writes about cars and his admirration for getting a Packard as the Orient needs a lot of work [postcard #16]. He comments on Henry (Nummie) and Arthur's activities as well as his own. [letter #1]Oct. 26, 1905. "I'm afraid that I shall not be able to get to Harvard before I am twenty...." [item #15] April 14, 1907 Dunbar was burned down the other day. Arthur all right. Lost all clothes" He describes the voyage when returning from Europe in September. [#14] August 31, 1907 "it seems a shame for mama's cook to have two berths all herself." [#4] Sept.16, 1906. He lost francs in the hat pools on board, but won more in a game of poker. [#7] Sept. 1, 1907. On the crossing they came within 1/4 mile of "a magnificent iceberg"; saw "a whole troop of whales spouting..." "Mama made the acquaintance of Mr. & Mrs. Crosby from New York." [#9] Nov 1, 1907: "I can hardly believe that you have bought a Packard." [#13] Dec 16, 1907: " I am very glad to hear that you have bought a "15" h-p. Ford runabout."
