Scope & Content |
Correspondence: Catherine Garrettson 01. 2 pages. Received June 7, 1827. She hopes that Catharine, the poor child, "will improve her time to the best of purposes and be enabled by faith to read"....and enjoy the promises of God. 02. 3 pages. Rhinebeck. Oct. 20, 1829. Would like to hear from Catharine herself but can hardly expect a letter in her low state of health. Regrets that there is such a 'shrinking from the tower of religion" among a certain class. Most of the letter is religious thought. Mary has been very unwell |
