Correspondence: Catharine Garrettson Suckley 01. 18 May [No year]: Grieved to find no letter when she returned from Schnectady to [Garrettson's] Rhinebeck. Was upset to hear of the death of Harriet and feels for Matilda. Visit to Mr. & Mrs. Potter. John Nott is studying divinity at Andover. Had tea at Dr. Nott's twice. Called to see their cousin Mrs. Lane - Angelica Ransaller, whose son married Mrs. Tibbet's daughter. "heard that Tom is to leave his studies & go with Papa in the fall ... he should have the advantages his brothers have had. If it is so, it will be a sign to me we are getting poor" She "lost Mama's eye-glass...Ma's C. Rutsen glass." Tells about all people she saw & met on her travels. she teaches at Sunday school.
