Thirty-one items from son Henry include letters, postcards, telegrams and accounts sent from Kõnigsfeld; Exeter, NH; Rhinebeck and on shipboard. 1904 Henry finishes courses at the Moravian School, Kõnigsfeld, Baden, Germany under the principal Rev. Arthur Schmitt. He is interested in the information received by his father from Phillips Exeter Academy explaining how they can help prepare Henry for Harvard. He and RBS sail on August 27 to America and Henry begins classes at Exeter. Henry looks forward to a family trip to Petites Dalles, France in the summer. Describes life and classes at Exeter and details his expenditures. 1905 [letter #18] During winter vacation, Henry and Uncle Harry [Montgomery] stay at Wilderrcliff to enjoy iceboating on the Hudson River. Henry sailed down to Rupert's boathouse and raced him and the Fink crowd. [#24] Henry and Robin drove the car all over at Rhinebeck during Thanksgiving vacation. A newspaper clipping from the Gazette remarks on Henry's efficiency "in handling the car, doing all the driving himself." 1906 After summer in Europe, Henry sailed for America at the end of September.
