Sixteen letters to Robert from his wife from Geneva, Chateau d'Oex and Paris to RBS at Chateau d'Oex and America when he traveled there with son Henry. Bessie encloses lists of her expenses and requests for more money. She wants him to give $30 or $50 to Aunt Mary for the Hillside church and $500 to Alan [her brother] to help furnish his apartment. She informs him of what she and the children are doing. Arthur began at the Lancy school. Bessie wants to take Daisy with her to America. In September, Addie arrived to join Bessie, Robin and Arthur in Geneva. In October they all went to Paris where Addie had her teeth fixed. |
