Twenty-seven letters, most written from Cambridge, Massachusetts where Henry is studying at Harvard. Many letters concern cars and a need for more money. He also comments on his younger siblings. [letter #1] Jan. 15, 1907. Robin and Arthur [both at Phillips Exeter] are in excellent health and have gained weight. [#5] Sept. 11, 1907. Sent from Europe - Henry has just seen the mororcycle put on board in good condition. [#6] Nov. 4, 1907. He is glad RBS purchased a 1906 Packard. The Orient is out of commission. [#10] May 5, 1908. He is glad RBS purchased the boat and that Arthur can now run the Ford. [#11] May 30, 1908. Break out of scarlet fever at Harvard including Henry's roommate. Henry is alright because he had it before. [#18] Feb. 16, 1908. Excellent iceboating for four days at Rhinebeck with Montgomery cousins Austin and Henry, brothers Robin and Arthur and Uncle Harry. |
