Letter. 2 pages. Stratford. Thanks Thomas for the check for $200 and sends a receipt for it but does not understand why it was that amount and not the usual $175. Says that his sending the money in advance relieved her greatly. Does not understand why he asks for a reeipt in full to Dec. 25, 1879 and asks him to clarify this. Says God will reward his kindness. |
