Description |
Letter. 2 pages + receipt + envelope. Stratford. Thanks Thomas for his kindness and says that if Rutsen knew he would love him the more for it. Says she was afraid Thomas would transfer her to another executor. Says she values the vases of flowers very much and has put them in the parlor where she has many mementos of Rutsen. Wishes him a pleasant journey and improved health for Kitty. One page receipt is in Thomas' handwriting and is signed by Harriet Sands. It is for $175 for six months interest beginning June 22, 1877. On front of envelope is a notation of the receipt in Thomas' hand |
