2 pages. Rhinebeck. In Reed's opinion, if RS cannot come up he should let Mr. Platt settle with John E. Lasher as the latter lays out more money than he has. He bought himself a black horse and a one horse sleigh which he didn't need. He paid Milton Schriver very little in wages owed. Reed had to tell the shoemaker to let John have new boots as he was holding them until paid. Many people trust Lasher since RS is so liberal with him. Reed is tired out "keeping Mr. Lasher in good working humor." |
