Letter. 3 pages with address on the 4th page. New York. Is glad that Thomas has arrived safely. Sarah has been very ill; they changed physicians and he thinksshe will recover fully. Mary is also recovering from an illness she got while the family had gathered at Saratoga Springs. Asks Thomas a series of questions about what he has seen on his travels including if he had seen any pretty girls. Suggests he collect national curiosities and bring them back as Captain Parker did when he returned from the Isle of Chadidon. Sends New Year's greetings. |
