4 pages. Garrettson heard that RS's man was inquiring about an ox cart for sale. He has two ox carts, although no oxen, but they are not for sale. He would be willing to lend them. Since his father's old deeds may not have been recorded, he would like Cousin Mary - as the only heir of her mother and of advanced age - to execute claim deeds of the lands as by their now known boundaries. This precaution might save much troulble in case of Cousin Mary's death. Said to be enclosed are the papers which RS can return or request Cousin Mary to execute in Robert's presence. |
