A Colonial Revival mahogany desk-and-bookcase, American, Circa 1890-1910, in two-parts: the upper with a molded swanneck cresting centering an urn-and flame finial above glazed and mullioned double cupboard doors opening to a shelved interior; the lower section with a slant-lid opening to an interior fitted with a central shell-carved door with flanking document drawers with flame-carved appliques and pigeonholes above curved small darwers; the whole with four serpentined long drawers; on a molded base and claw-and-ball feet. |
