Consists of 15 letters from Kittie to her mother. The first few letters are full of her homesickness and unhappiness at school. Gradually this eases and she talks more about friends, school activities, letter writing, etc. though she continues to long for home and for visits. Talks of music including singing lessons and the piano, lectures, parties and visits with friends. Asks about the horses at home and sends messages to many people. |
